FIELD: control systems for shaping commands or signals with limited output power at high efficiency. SUBSTANCE: transformer has primary and secondary windings and magnetic circuit built up of two ferromagnetic cores. Primary winding is placed on both cores and secondary one, on one core. Core carrying secondary winding is made of material of higher permeability than that of other core. With current increasing in secondary winding common magnetic flux is re-distributed between cores. Voltage across secondary winding decreases, current through secondary load circuit and through primary circuit rises. EFFECT: minimized thermal power loss in transformer due to inductive character of current through transformer windings. 2 dwg
