FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for wireless power supply of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) containing a GLONASS receiver, equipment of a service radio channel for communication with a ground control station (GCS) and an antenna with a built-in rectifier (rectenna). For targeted transmission of energy to the UAV from the GPSS, which is stationary on the ground or on a mobile platform, according to the coordinates of the GPSS obtained using GLONASS receivers and the UAV is determined by the position of the UAV in space relative to the RA, after which the BP with the corresponding direction of the main maximum is formed, and the radiation of the RA is focused on the UAV. Coordinates of the UAV are transmitted over a service radio channel to the GCS and from there transmitted to the GPSS. Rectenna located on the UAV receives electromagnetic radiation and converts it into direct current.
EFFECT: simplification and high accuracy of determining the required direction of the main maximum of the beam pattern (BP) and the focusing distance of the radiating antenna (RA) to increase the efficiency of energy transfer, increase the range of the UAV, as well as to provide additional protection of UAV vulnerable systems of copter type from electromagnetic radiation (EMR) of a ground power supply station (GPSS).
