FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as a magnetic conductor of a circular transformer, the material of which is made from sheet or coil electrical steel or an alloy. Laminated magnetic conductor contains more than two identical O-shaped segments, which are connected to form a central core of the magnetic conductor with a circular cross section. Segment consists of sheet flat elements, each of which is a rectangle with a rectangular window and has dimensions described by an empirical digital sequence or a parametric relationship derived for the version with four segments.
EFFECT: proposed design of laminated magnetic conductor of circular transformer has minimum weight, dimensions and proper heat release, and thus provides higher efficiency and resource reliability; at that, the design makes it possible to manufacture laminated magnetic cores for circular transformers of considerable power of megawatt level for industrial power engineering with current frequency of 50 Hz and special power engineering with increased current frequency of 400 Hz and 1,000 Hz, including for three-phase power supply using three copies of circular transformers, for example, delta-star circuit.
