FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for production of electroconductive magnetic liquid and measurement of parameters of magnetic field by means of it. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that an electroconductive magnetic liquid is obtained based on an organic solvent, an electroconductive component having magnetic properties, and stabilizing substances, wherein as the electroconductive component having magnetic properties, carbonyl iron is used in amount of 85 wt.%, the particles of which are coated with copper in order to increase electrical conductivity; magnetic fluid contains an additional electroconductive component – dispersed copper in amount of 5 wt.%; surfactants are used as stabilizing substances: oleic acid in amount of 1.0 wt.% and sodium dodecyl sulphate in amount of 0.2 wt.% and a thixotropic substance: chloroprene rubber in amount of 0.6 wt.%. Measurement of magnetic field parameters is carried out by determining changes in electrical parameters of magnetic fluid under action of magnetic field, wherein the variable electrical parameter is the electrical resistance of the electroconductive magnetic fluid when a constant electrical voltage is applied and a constant distance between the electrodes of the measuring cell; value of magnetic field induction is determined from calibration characteristics obtained at different values of applied electric voltage.
EFFECT: simplifying measurement of magnetic field parameters, as well as providing the possibility of making electronic controllers using the hysteresis phenomenon, based on the developed electroconductive magnetic fluid, which makes it possible to eliminate the need to use electromechanical relays and semiconductor devices.
