FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: for indication of magnetic fields of electromagnets, permanent magnets, solenoids, magnetic fields defects. Invention consists in that the magnetic field indicator comprises a vessel with a ferromagnetic suspension containing a dispersion medium of a soap solution viscosity of 50 centipoise with the addition of hydrochloric acid concentration of 30% in the amount of 2-10% by volume of the dispersion medium, 50-400 mg/ml ferromagnetic powder, and two electrodes mounted perpendicular to the horizontal axis of the container in the form of copper vertical plates are placed in a container and rigidly secured at its inner side surface, copper vertical plates divide the capacity of the central and two side parts, not communicating with each other, with one of side portions filled with ferromagnetic suspension, and the rest - the dispersion medium.

EFFECT: enabling display not only nonuniform, but also the uniform magnetic fields.
