FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: method for production of a food product for a snack is proposed, according to which a mixture of apples with fresh pumpkin, banana and orange is used as the main ingredient. Preliminarily apples are treated for 3.0-3.5 minutes in a microwave chamber with frequency of 2,400±50 MHz, and pumpkin is pre-cut into pieces. Then lemon juice, water, orange peel, pectin preliminarily dissolved in hot water are added to the total mass of main ingredients. All products are milled to a homogeneous consistency, poured out with thickness of 5-6 mm, dried in a drying apparatus with infrared radiation, then cooled, cut and packaged.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a product with a long storage life.
