FIELD: testing and measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for studying physical and mechanical properties of textile materials and knitted fabrics, and can be used to determine extensibility at loads less than discontinuous in textile materials science, light industry and household services. Device comprises a metal frame of rectangular shape, on one side of which electronic scales are rigidly fixed, connected to a fixed clamp for fixing a material sample, on the opposite side of the metal frame there is a metal threaded rod, for its translational movement, at the end of which there is a movable clamp, a metal threaded rod is fixed by means of a fixing screw. Movable clamp translational movement occurs due to the fastening screw rotation along the metal threaded rod thread until the preset load value in grams is fixed on the electronic scales, note here that material sample is stretched and its geometrical characteristics (length and width) are changed.

EFFECT: high quality and speed of conducting research when determining accurate values of deformation characteristics of a material sample, required to determine the values of structural allowances and narrowing limits when designing garments from stretchable materials.
