FIELD: textiles, paper.
SUBSTANCE: essence of the method consists in determining the coefficient of elasticity of samples on the initial segment of the tensile diagram, where P is a stretching force, and ε is relative deformation of the sample. Prior to testing, the samples are prepared from the mesh warp knitted fabric characterised by monofilaments with a diameter of 0.1 mm, a linear density of monofilaments from 10.4 to 21.5 tex, a loop step of 2 to 2.1 mm, the height of the row of loops B from 0.7 to 0.9 mm, density of horizontal knitting "П"n - from 48 to 50 loops/100 mm, density of vertical knitting "П"v from 152 to 155 loops/100 mm and surface density ρs from 62 to 123.5 g/m2 with dimensions of length L and width h of their working part corresponding to the ratio L/h, equal to not more than 0.4, preserving the form of loops of warp knitted fabric for the entire sample surface.
EFFECT: use of the method enables to enhance the quality of assessment of deformation properties of warp mesh prosthetic implants due to determining the coefficients of elasticity for calculation of deformation of mesh prosthetic implants that strengthen the abdominal wall after herniotomy.
