FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of high-rise buildings and structures, particularly brick and reinforced concrete chimneys, exhaust towers and other high-rise buildings and structures. Method for dismantling chimneys and other high-rise buildings and structures by the method of undercutting with a swinging bat, in which the upper end of at least one bearing tether is attached to the undercutting ring, and a bat is suspended to the lower end of the carrying tether, and by means of another impact tether attached to the bit, the bat is pulled back and after deviation of the bit from the vertical by the required angle, the impact tether is abruptly released, as a result of which the bat is struck on the part to be cut.
EFFECT: reduced cost, time of work, as well as increased safety of dismantling chimneys and other high-rise structures of any height and with any size of dismantled fragments, without presence of personnel at height during cutting of structures.
