FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: multichannel direction-finder further comprises in each of the K parallel-connected direction-finding channels a unit for estimating and compensating for interference dispersion, which input is connected to the output of the corresponding analogue-to-digital converter, and the output is connected to the corresponding input of the covariance matrix calculation unit.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of direction finding of radio emission sources due to increased signal-to-noise ratio at inputs of the covariance matrix calculation unit by compensating not only internal noise of direction-finding channels, but also a set of external Gaussian noise at the outputs of direction-finding channels, regardless of the presence of the useful signal and its level.
