SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automatic coffee machine (1) comprising tank (50) for coffee beans fed into grinder (10), wherein tank (50) comprises upper opening (51) covered with detachable cover (40), wherein coffee machine (1) comprises safety device (16, 20, 30) of cover (40) on upper opening (51), comprising safety rod (30) extending from edge (41) of cover (40), and switch (16) equipped with pusher (20), installed with possibility of movement between activated position, which enables operation of grinder (10), and deactivated position, which prohibits operation of grinder (10), wherein safety rod (30) comprises support member (31) interacting with support surface (22) of pusher (20) in activated position. According to the invention, safety rod (30) passes in the transverse direction relative to the plane P, in which cover (40) is inscribed, and cover (40) is installed on tank (50) with possibility of rotation around axis Δ, tangent to edge (41) of cover (40) and passing through area (42) of connection of rod (30), wherein support member (31) of safety rod (30) is made so that at rotation of cover (40) lying on tank (50) around axis Δ by angle value more than 20° to be disconnected from support surface (22) of pusher (20) and thus to move pusher (20) into deactivated position.

EFFECT: disclosed is a coffee machine equipped with a safety device for opening the cover of the tank for coffee beans.
