SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an automatic coffee machine (1) comprising a coffee bean grinder (10) having first (11) and second millstone (12), wherein one of millstones (11) is movable and rotates about an axis Δ in relation to another millstone (12), and device (20) for adjusting the gap between first millstone (11) and second millstone (12) along the axis Δ screw/nut type, wherein adjustment device (20) has rim (21) movable along axis Δ between closed position, in which between first (11) and second millstones (12) there is a small gap for fine grinding, and an open position in which between first (11) and second millstones (12) there is a large gap for production of coarse grinding. According to the invention, movable rim (21) has a circle with angular division into first sector (26) and second sector (27), wherein first sector (26) comprises manually operated lever (30) for rotating movable rim (21) so as to adjust the gap between first (11) and second millstones (12), and second sector (27) comprises drive (40) of system (41) for measuring position of movable rim (21) between closed position and open position.

EFFECT: automatic coffee machine equipped with a grinder adjustment device is disclosed.
