FIELD: aviation; physics.
SUBSTANCE: intelligent system for automatic remote monitoring of the state and safety of high-voltage power lines contains a group of all-weather UAVs, divided in a certain way into groups of UAV sensors, UAVs-computers and UAV-accumulators, and also contains an automated service complex, combined with a UAV base station, an information processing centre. Each UAV contains a memory control subsystem, a control subsystem, a navigation subsystem based on a GPS or GLONASS navigator, machine vision subsystem, active for UAVs of UAV-sensors group, electric motors, accumulator battery, transceiving antenna, photogrammetric camera, GPS/GLONASS beacons. Basing stations are located at transformer substations and are made with possibility of UAV accumulator battery charging.
EFFECT: increasing the speed and quality of monitoring the state of power transmission lines.
