FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of nitrided sintered material based on chromium and aluminium nitrides. It can be used in ferrous metallurgy as an alloying additive in steel making. Powdered material containing 65.0–97.0 wt.% of chromium and 3–35 wt.% of aluminium, subjected to nitriding at pressure of 1–16 MPa by performing layer-by-layer combustion in the temperature range of 1300–2100 °C to the end product in the form of a sintered material based on chromium and aluminium nitrides.
EFFECT: obtaining the end product with high content of chromium nitride, high porosity and specified physical and chemical properties.
