FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, in particular to sintered nitrogen-containing alloys based on chromium, and can be used for joint alloying of steel and nickel-based alloys with chromium and nitrogen. Sintered nitrogen-containing chromium-based alloy contains, wt.%: nitrogen 15.0–21.0, iron not more than 1.0, aluminium not more than 0.7, silicon not more than 0.5, carbon not more than 0.1, oxygen not more than 0.9, chromium – the rest. Sintered alloy has density from 3.5 to 5.5 g/cm3 and porosity from 10 to 50 vol.%.
EFFECT: possibility of melting high-nitrogen steels and alloys at minimum consumption of alloying alloy with maximum degree of nitrogen assimilation by melt.
