FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to sintered nitrogen-containing alloys based on chromium. It can be used in metallurgy for joint alloying of steel with chromium and nitrogen. Sintered nitrided ferrochrome contains, wt.%: nitrogen 8.0-18.0, iron 11.0-26.0, aluminium not more than 0.5, silicon not more than 1.5, carbon not more than 0.1, oxygen not more than 1.0, chromium is a base. Density of alloy is from 3.5 to 5.8 g/cm3, and porosity is from 19 to 49 vol.%.
EFFECT: obtaining nitrided ferrochrome, which enables to melt high-nitrogen steels at minimum consumption of alloy with maximum degree of nitrogen assimilation by melt.
