FIELD: anti-aircraft missile weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means intended for automatic target designation and firing in night and day conditions with Man-Portable Air Defense System (MANPADS). Essence of the proposed technical solution consists in providing a solution to a combination of the following tasks: reduction of total time of visual search of target and guidance of MANPADS to it; providing preliminary guidance of MANPADS to an approaching aerial target located outside the line of sight during combat operation on an area with limited surveillance sectors; providing the possibility of quick change of target without additional operations and complication of target designation equipment; providing the designation of the target designation system (TDS) in the form of a monoblock mounted on the MANPADS, as well as semi-automatic calibration of the TDS optical-electronic guidance channel after exposure to vibration or impact loads.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of MANPADS application.
