SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a metal coating of chromium on carbon fibre. Chromium coating layer is applied on carbon fibre heated to temperature from 240 to 260 °C, by feeding into the reactor vapours of hexacarbonyl chromium with temperature of 45 to 55 °C, at rate of 25 to 35 l/h, in the medium of a carrier gas of carbon monoxide and thermal decomposition of chromium hexacarbonyl vapour. vapours of chromium hexacarbonyl are thermally decomposed to obtain a metal coating of chromium with thickness of 10 to 30 nm on carbon fibre.
EFFECT: optimization of technological properties of filler for polymer composite materials with improved strength, deformation, thermophysical and antifriction properties.
