FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for liquid cooling of electric machines with a structural design of housing using 3D printing on metal. Electric machine stator with liquid cooling system comprises housing with coolant inlet and outlet annular collector channels, which are connected to each other by helical channels of rectangular section with angle of rise α from 15° to 30°, providing increase in coolant movement speed. Additional increase of turbulence of coolant movement is provided through interconnected annular channels, which cut helical channels at least once.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cooling with maintaining the weight and dimensions of the product.
