SUBSTANCE: invention relates to information technology, in particular to a method of creating a new version of a single information object containing at least one additional information element. Method of creating a new version of a single information object containing at least one additional information element includes the following steps. Single information object containing a plurality of data elements specified by a user is created by a content creation module and stored in a database. At least one additional information element is created, and a criterion and value of this criterion are set for it. At least one additional element of information with given criteria is stored in a database with submission to a single information object. Performing a request to create at least one additional information element, wherein to create a new version of a single information object, criteria and values of criteria for segmentation are indicated by a segmentation module, wherein at least one additional information element is a copy of the data element from the single information object, with changes made to the segmentation criteria and values thereof from the request. According to the given criteria, a new version of the single information object is formed, containing at least one additional information element, different from the data elements of the single information object, in part of the given criteria and values of the criteria data from the request, and the unchanged data elements are duplicated from the single information object into a new version of the single information object.

EFFECT: shorter time for processing multiple versions of repeating content with partial data changes.
