FIELD: engine building.

SUBSTANCE: cooling system of non-reversible ship internal combustion engine (1) comprises an internal circuit of an open type with the possibility of changing to a closed type, thermoelectric cooler (2) and a closed circuit for an organic Rankine cycle (ORC). Closed circuit of the ORC includes evaporator (16), turbine (17) with generator (18) and condenser (19). System additionally contains intermediate heat exchanger (10) installed on engine exhaust pipeline (9) with the possibility of heat exchange of the heat carrier – thermal oil with waste gases. Thermal oil outlet of heat exchanger-intermediate (10) is connected to evaporator (16) of the ORC. Heat exchange between thermal oil and low-boiling substance ORC takes place in ORC evaporator (16). ORC evaporator (16) is electrically connected through steam turbine (17) with ORC generator (18) to thermoelectric cooler (2) and other electric consumers of the cooling system.

EFFECT: provision of optimum temperature mode in cooling system by means of maintenance at idle and partial loads of higher temperature than at nominal modes.
