FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oncology and ophthalmology, and can be used to predict survival rate after enucleation in uveal melanoma of ciliary and/or post-equatorial choroidal localization. Presence or absence of ophthalmic hypertension, involvement of the ciliary body and/or post-equatorial choroid into the tumor process, weak staining using an immunohistochemical reaction with a FLK receptor marker and/or intense staining with a VEGF marker of endothelial cells of tumor vessels and predicting survival in months by a given formula.
EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of prediction of survival rate after enucleation of uveal melanoma of ciliary and/or post-equatorial choroidal localization due to assessment of set of the most significant parameters.
