FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to acoustics, specifically to optical microphones. Optical microphone comprising a monochromatic light source, a focusing lens, a beam splitter, a membrane, a photodetector, a diaphragm; first and second multiple reflection devices; air-permeable partition; wherein: the diaphragm is located after the monochromatic light source; focusing lens is located after the diaphragm; beam splitter is located after focusing lens; first and second multiple reflection devices are located on opposite sides of the beam splitter; membrane is located between the first and second multiple reflection devices; on the side of the membrane there is an air-permeable partition; photodetector is located at the output of the beam splitter; multiple reflection devices are focused on the membrane from opposite sides, the monochromatic light source is made in the form of a semiconductor laser with wavelength of 650 nanometres, optical circuit is made symmetrical, microphone is made with possibility to change power of semiconductor laser, as well as with the possibility of a hybrid mode of operation, with the possibility of using a digital mode of operation for strong audio signals and an analogue mode of operation for weak audio signals.
EFFECT: high sensitivity of the optical microphone by increasing the number of reflections.
