Polarization-photon detector of low-contrast images comprises a lens with a diaphragm for collecting optical radiation, a lens which projects an image through a linear polarizer spatially structured along the orientation of the optical axis onto the photocathode of an electro-optical converter, at the output of which a converted optical image of the object is formed in another region of the spectrum, optical system, which transfers the modified image into the plane of the photosensitive matrix of the recording device of the camera, which forms an image with high contrast at its output, wherein at least one spatially structured linear polarizer is used, made in the form of a single polarization photomask, which is an array of multiply spatially multiplied identical domains of linear polarizers with an optical axis spatially structured by orientation.
