SUBSTANCE: liquid-crystal indicating element includes layer of liquid crystal placed between first and second plates with electrodes, polarizers, light-forming and orientation layers. At least one polarizer has one anisotropically absorbing birefrigent layer as minimum formed from asymmetric mixed salts of dichroic anion pigments containing various cations and/or associates of dichroic pigments containing ionogenic groups with at least one mole of organic ion.
