FIELD: computer technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer technology and represents a universal omnidirectional treadmill which, when used together with a virtual reality helmet, allows the user to immerse themselves and interact with the virtual reality world as much as possible. Platform for user interaction with virtual reality, comprising a composite frame, one of the parts of which is made in the form of a welded rectangular frame, on which a support plate is mounted, wherein an L-shaped post is mounted on the support plate, another part of said composite frame is made in the form of a welded polygonal frame, on which a platform with an antifriction coating in the form of a concave surface is mounted for the user to move in different planes, wherein the L-shaped post comprises a support platform mounted on a support plate and a vertical beam mounted on said support platform by means of stiffeners, and a horizontal beam mounted on a vertical beam using a transition flange, characterized in that said horizontal beam comprises an assembly comprising a housing, in the inner surface of which linear bearings are mounted, in which a rod with a spring is mounted, wherein said spring in the upper part of the rod rests against the adjusting nut, and in the lower part it rests against the washer mounted in the said housing, wherein in said rod there are two threaded parts – upper and lower, wherein to said upper threaded part said adjusting nut is attached, and to said lower threaded part a composite clamping bar is attached, wherein said composite clamping bar comprises upper and lower parts, in which adjusting slots are made, wherein in said adjustment slots of the composite clamping bar there is a holder made in the form of two bent pipes, and a mating part made in the form of vertical pipes mounted in slots made in the bracket of the composite safety belt, wherein on said bracket of composite safety belt, composite safety belt is mounted, including spacer, plate adjacent to said spacer, sidewalls pivotally fixed on said plate, wherein on said sidewalls there are frames for fastening the adjusting belt and fixing said composite safety belt on the waist of the user, wherein said composite safety belt on the outer side comprises plastic pads, and on the inner side comprises a soft textile base, wherein said platform is made in form of hemisphere, or ellipse, or rectangle, wherein said antifriction coating is made in the form of a paint coating, or a plastic coating, or an artificial stone, or Teflon, wherein said spacer, said sidewalls and said textile base comprise projections.
EFFECT: improved operational properties of the platform for user interaction with virtual reality, objectively manifested in simplicity of design and increased reliability.
