SUBSTANCE: invention relates to locomotion systems for virtual reality. Three hundred sixty degree locomotion system for virtual reality comprises a platform; at least one support assembly connected to the platform and extending upward from the platform; safety belt made with possibility of providing vertical support, horizontal support and radial support of user by means of safety belt. Said at least one support assembly and safety belt are configured to provide rotational and vertical movement of the user within the platform, providing the user with horizontal and vertical support within the platform and providing the user with freedom of rotation and vertical movement within the platform.
EFFECT: invention provides increased freedom of movement of the user of the system.
