FIELD: cables.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an intelligent cable connected to a device for starting from an external power source. Cable has an input port for connection to an external starting power supply, two clamps for connection to a load accumulator, a controller, a terminal polarity recognition module and a clamping connection module. Controller controls the clamping connection module based on the signal from the battery electrode polarity recognition module and in accordance with the determined polarity connects the circuits between the input port and two clamps to connect the circuit to the battery. Clamping connection module contains several relay control modules and several relays. Relay control modules are connected to controller outputs and to relay. Relays are connected to the first clamp and the second clamp, respectively. Cable additionally contains several modules of relay recognition, made with possibility of sticking recognition.
EFFECT: higher probability of successful start-up and protection against short circuit.
