FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, in particular, to hybrid radial-thrust single-row ball bearings, which are high-speed and are used in electric motors and jet turbojet plants. Hybrid single-row radial-thrust ball bearing is made cageless and comprises an outer race with a raceway open towards the anti-base end, with a lock providing the bearing continuity during its installation into the product, an inner ring with a full groove, wherein the rings are made of corrosion-resistant steel, which provides the possibility of using the bearing in a humid environment and serviceability at a temperature of the assembly of up to 350 °C, as well as a set of balls made of silicon nitride, which ensures operation of the bearing at high rotation frequency and high temperatures, the accumulated gap between the balls laid close to each other in the groove of the inner ring is equal to (0.5-0.7)Dw, where Dw is the diameter ball.
EFFECT: improvement of dynamic characteristics of bearing (reduction of friction losses) in conditions of humid environment and high temperatures.
