FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to rail and other types of transportation. A roller bearing comprises an outer and inner rings and rollers taking radial load and a ringless ball bearing taking axial load. Radial clearance in the ball bearing is chosen according to the following formula where rg - radius of the ball bearing race, ds - ball diameter, Δr - roller bearing radial clearance, β - contact angle in the ball bearing. Toroidal races of the ringless ball bearing are made in the central part of the roller paths in the roller bearing rings.
EFFECT: increasing working efficiency of the bearing and decreasing its weight and dimensions.
