FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: procedure for determination of base dynamic load carrying ability of ball rolling bearing consists in measuring diameter of ball Dw, and diameter of circumference dm passing through centres of balls, in measuring amount of rows i and number z of balls in one row, nominal angle α of bearing contact, and least value of plastic hardness of material of bearing ring race HR (hardness of race). For the ring with the least value of plastic hardness and considering diameter of the ball there is determined sum of curvatures Σρ in contact of the ball and the bearing ring race and ratio b/a of smaller half-axle to bigger area of ball contact with the race of the bearing ring having the least value of plastic hardness. There is measured base limit of back-to-back endurance σHG of material of bearing ring race with the least value of plastic hardness and there is calculated maximal dynamic load on the ball with consideration of sum of curvatures in contact of the ball with the bearing ring and elastic constants of materials of the ball and the bearing ring.

EFFECT: raised accuracy of determination of base dynamic load bearing ability of ball rolling bearing.
