FIELD: measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contactless measurement equipment. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the method for contactless determination of the direction of rotation and measurement of the rotation speed of an object comprises steps, on which determination of direction of rotation and speed of rotation of object is carried out using vortex flow of ambient medium, which is formed in gap between annular chamber and object due to rotation of object in annular chamber, which creates pressure for generation of signals for determination of direction of rotation and speed of rotation.
EFFECT: providing contactless determination of direction of rotation and speed of rotation of an object.
