FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of quality control and identification of defects during the riveting machine working process. Riveting equipment technical vision device for riveting quality control contains a personal computer with the corresponding software, a vision camera, a laser line generator containing a power supply unit, switching on relay and a linear laser creating a laser line, wherein the optical axis of the chamber coincides with the normal to the processed surface and the axis of the rivet, and the axis of the laser is directed at an angle to the optical axis of chamber from 15° up to 45° and intersects with it. Method of riveting quality control is characterized by the fact that at the centre of the image coming from the technical vision camera to the monitor screen, a scanning area is marked by a program algorithm in the form of a frame with a line in the middle along the X axis, which includes the location of the controlled rivet on the processed surface, which is displayed on the monitor, five parallel scanning lines along the Y axis are determined inside a given area by a software algorithm, which arranged so that the two extreme scanning lines coincide with the borders of the frame, the central scanning line passes along the centre of the frame along the Y axis and two scanning lines pass on different sides of the central scanning line at a distance of the rivet radius from it. In the process of riveting equipment operation, the rivet location on the processed surface is scanned in the scanning area along the scanning lines. Points of intersection of the scanning lines with the laser line obtained in the process of scanning are displayed on the monitor in the form of marker points, by the position of which the quality of the riveting is determined.

EFFECT: simpler design and higher accuracy of measurements and quality of riveting, obtaining scanning results in real time due to continuous scanning.
