FIELD: molding.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to hollow polyolefin articles. Described is a plastic article for industrial purposes, which is stabilized against the harmful effects of heat, light and oxygen, comprising a substrate, including at least one polyolefin and additives added to the substrate, wherein the additives include: i) a hindered amine light stabilizer, ii) an ultraviolet light absorber and iii) a thioether additive, wherein the plastic article has a hollow part, wherein the plastic article contains from 50(±5%) to 95(±5%) of the substrate by weight, based on the total weight of the article, wherein the weight ratio of the ultraviolet radiation absorber to the thioether additive is from 3/1(±5%) to 1/3(±5%), wherein the weight ratio of the hindered amine-based light stabilizer to the thioether additive ranges from 7/1(±5%) to 1/1(±5%). Also described is a method of producing said hollow plastic article, involving: adding to a substrate containing at least one polyolefin, additives containing: i) a hindered amine light stabilizer, ii) an ultraviolet radiation absorber and iii) a thioether additive, to obtain a completely formulated polyolefin mixture, placing the mixture in a mold, heating the mold to temperature above 280 °C and rotating the mold around at least 2 axes, note here that said molten polyolefin mix coats the mold inner part with further cooling of the mold as it continues to rotate, opening the mold and extracting the molded hollow article.

EFFECT: obtaining plastic articles with required impact strength and plasticity by rotational moulding.
