SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to underwater buttons, which include a housing connected to a disconnected electric wire, and can be used in an underwater environment, including primarily by divers for switching on and off various underwater devices, switching modes thereof, etc. According to the invention, the housing includes a fixed base made of a waterproof material, which includes several reed switches made with possibility of closing electric wire in presence of magnetic field and opening of electric wire in absence of magnetic field, connected to several electric wires. Also, the housing includes a movable part in which the magnet is located and which has several positions: an opening position, at which the magnet is located at such a distance from all reed switches, in which all reed switches do not react to the presence of a magnetic field, and several closing positions, at which the magnet is located at such distance from each reed switch, at which each reed switch separately reacts to presence of magnetic field and closes its electric wire.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of underwater button operation due to complete absence of power supply elements, as well as corrosive elements and air cavities, as well as increasing the service life of the underwater button due to the absence of power elements and the elimination of seals and corroding parts that require maintenance, and the ability to close different contacts.
