FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of recognizing signals and can be used in technical means of recognizing objects displayed on frames of photographic and video images. Feature vectors belonging to one object are reformatted, and then averaged, wherein the reformatting operation consists in that the significant coefficients of the feature vector are located from the same ordinal bit, and significant coefficients of the feature vector include those coefficients whose amplitude is at least 1% of the maximum value.
EFFECT: high reliability of object recognition.
