FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building. Rotary engine of vane type with external supply of heat to working medium includes housing with inlet (2) and outlet (3) channels of working medium. Cylindrical rotor (4) with blades and diametrically opposed rollers (5) with recesses are installed in the housing with possibility of rotation, kinematically connected to rotor (4) and dividing space between housing and rotor (4) into two semi-ring cavities (6). Each cavity (6) is divided by appropriate blade into working medium inlet and outlet chambers. Covers cover the cavity of the housing and attached to it. Blades of rotor (4) and recesses of rollers (5) are made in such a way that they form gearing elements. Between rotor (4) and the covers there are rings attached to the rotor and provided with channels (11) with the possibility of connecting inlet channels (2) with the inlet chambers. Channels (11) are located behind each rotor blade (6). Arrangement of working medium inlet and outlet channels is disclosed.
EFFECT: higher engine efficiency and power density.
