FIELD: mechanical engineering; engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary-vane engine has housing with end face covers, compression and expansion sides, intake and discharge ports, combustion chamber, rotor with slots installed eccentrically relative to inner surface of housing on bearings. Separating vanes are fitted in rotor slots to form intervene chambers. Vanes do not contact with inner surface of housing and are provided with outer rollers on journals. Outer rollers of vanes are fitted in ring slots of rings installed for rotation coaxially with inner surface of housing and installed, for instance, on antifriction bearings on tenons of end face covers. Vanes are provided with inner rollers on journals installed for rolling in slots of rotor.
EFFECT: reduced mechanical losses caused by friction of separating vanes against inner surface of housing and side surfaces of rotor slots, reduced leaks of working medium.
