FIELD: solar power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for cooling photovoltaic modules (PVM). Essence: pump control is carried out taking into account a number of factors: temperature of the photoelectric module itself, ambient temperature, radiation, wind speed and load current. Device comprises a controller, a current sensor, a solar radiation sensor, a wind speed sensor and a frequency-controlled pump. One of the temperature sensors is tightly fixed on the rear side of the PVM, and the other is placed in the shadow of the PVM. Controller processes data of sensors by formula for pump capacity and sets control signal to frequency-controlled pump.
EFFECT: high energy efficiency of the photovoltaic module cooling process.
