SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining parameters of the position of a slag downloading machine. Proposed method of determining the parameters of the position of the slag downloading machine includes the following: installation of markers as control objects on the slag loading machine, installation of upper and side chambers on the slag loading machine and shooting with the help of cameras the image of the current position of the machine movement; analysis of images in real time to determine angle of rotation, pitch angle, lift height, as well as front and rear telescopic distance of the machine for slag downloading.

EFFECT: simplified maintenance of the slag removal machine and increased reliability of its sensors.
