FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for obtaining a three-dimensional radar image of an object which is rotating at a course angle, with some movement at a pitching and banking angle. A special focusing system is used, and curvilinear coordinates fx, fy, fz, are also used, which are functions of frequency and orientation angles of the object. The complex envelope reflected signal is put into a matrix. From the obtained three-dimensional matrix of the synthesised response, the three-dimensional radar image of the object is obtained.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of defining a radar image.
