Overhead transmission lines wires ice loads monitoring system includes measuring posts, each of which includes fixed on the wire at a distance from the support optical mark, suspended temperature sensor near the support, configured for wireless data transmission, as well as mounted on the support, and oriented to the optical mark video camera, with the infrared spotlight and stabilization device, and the weather station. Video camera and weather station are connected to the information processing unit configured to receive data from the suspended temperature sensor, as well as access to the wireless communication channels, at that, each measuring post is connected to the remote terminal at the nearest electrical substation, connected to the main terminal at the dispatch control center territory.

EFFECT: increase in the ice loads measuring accuracy due to the wire sag registration channel noise immunity.
