FIELD: refuse receptacles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of public utilities in the field of waste management and is intended for primary manual sorting of solid municipal wastes within settlements. Prefabricated mobile unit for sorting wastes of block-modular type consists of sheds for arrangement of containers and tanks in them and separately modular block-containers forming a single closed construction group, inside which there is an internal platform for sorting wastes. Modular container unit has a workstation in an operator’s room with Internet access and an autonomous lavatory, separated from each other by a storage room, and is connected to the electric networks of the settlement. Each shed is a metal structure of posts joined by a roof, secured by a bolt-free joint by means of posts insertion into a hole in a reinforced concrete modular platform. Mesh gates are hung on shed posts, and along the perimeter the sheds have a gutter for arrangement of external and internal drainage. Tanks and containers are divided according to the type of material for sorted wastes and are installed under sheds. Tanks and containers are provided with covers and contain sensors for automatic control of volume of wastes, which transmit information on filling to a workstation of an operator's modular block container. Block-modules additionally contain alternative sources of power supply from renewable energy of the sun, wind and water, and a press for preliminary compaction of separated wastes is installed on the internal platform for waste sorting.

EFFECT: increased density of containers and tanks useful volume with separation according to the type of material, as well as reduction of contamination of adjacent territories due to absence of overfilled containers and complete suppression of animals access to containers and tanks.
