FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, particularly, to production of plywood. Press for gluing veneer with ferromagnetic adhesive composition contains plates with heating elements installed one above the other. Heating element is made in the form of a multi-turn oval inductor from a flexible conductor, the inductor turns rectilinear sections are arranged in the press upper and lower non-ferromagnetic plates, and flexible end loop sections of inductor turns are placed beyond side surfaces of plates and allow mutual movement of plates during loading, pressing and unloading of veneer pack. Ferromagnetic adhesive composition is heated non-contact in the longitudinal low-frequency magnetic field of the inductor without heat loss in the volume of the wood of the pack.
EFFECT: providing non-contact heating and polymerisation of the adhesive composition of the veneer pack without heat loss in the volume of the wood pack.
