FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, particularly, to production of shaped articles from veneer. Press for gluing shaped articles from veneer with thermosetting adhesive composition contains plates with shaped moulds installed one above the other, heating elements. Press is equipped with contact heating elements located on both sides of the veneer package, made in the form of thin-sheet solid or composite plates from ferromagnetic material. Wherein plate surface profile corresponds to mould surface relief. At that, in plates or press moulds made of non-ferromagnetic material there installed is loop inductor made with possibility of contactless heating of plates in electromagnetic field, and plates are made with possibility of heat transfer to thermosetting adhesive composition by contact through veneer solid wood.
EFFECT: providing controlled heat supply to heating elements and uniform thermal effect on thermosetting adhesive composition in stack of veneer sheets.
