FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endocrinology, and can be used for primary prevention of type 1 diabetes mellitus. Method involves complex primary prevention in a person being one of identical twins in case of another twin’s disease with type 1 autoimmune diabetes mellitus starting from the age of six. Blood tests for glucose, C-peptide, antibodies to beta-cells of the pancreas, with normal values excluding type 1 diabetes mellitus, using a preventive complex – low-carbohydrate diet No. 9, sequential ten-day enteral administration of preparations once a day, 60 minutes before lunch: histamine H1 receptor blocker – cetirizine hydrochloride tabletted preparation – 5 mg, tabletted immunomodulator with anti-inflammatory effect "Wobenzym", containing pancreatin, papain, rutoside, bromelain, trypsin, lipase, amylase, chymotrypsin – 1/4 of a tablet; biological additive – capsules "Linseed oil" – antacid containing vitamins F, A, E, minerals, triglycerides, with dosage – 300 mg. In 30 minutes, interstitial electrophoresis of the pancreas is carried out on a Potok-01 physical apparatus by a transverse technique with an anode cutaneous electrode on the mesogastric region, and the cathode electrode on a projection of the seventh-tenth thoracic vertebrae. Current intensity is 4-8 mA, the first procedure is 4 mA, the second and third procedures are 6 mA, the fourth and subsequent procedures are 8 mA, the area of cutaneous graphitized electrodes is 48 cm2. Length of procedure is 4-10 minutes, the first procedure is 4 minutes, the second procedure is 6 minutes, the third procedure is 8 minutes, the fourth and subsequent procedures are 10 minutes, 10 procedures daily, with a one-day break after the fifth procedure.
EFFECT: use of the invention enables to increase the effectiveness of the primary prevention of type 1 diabetes mellitus in a healthy person having a genetic predisposition due to the effect of interstitial electrophoresis of preventive preparations, with underlying reflex improvement of blood flow, trophic processes in pancreas from applied galvanization, reduction of possible risk of autoimmune inflammatory reactions to own beta-cells of pancreas.
