METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PROVISIONAL FIXED PROSTHESIS SUPPORTED BY SINGLE-STAGE DENTAL MONOIMPLANTS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61C13/03 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopaedic dentistry, and is intended for manufacturing fixed provisional prosthesis supported by single-stage dental monoimplants for a period of making a permanent prosthesis. Silicone key impression is obtained from the provisional prosthesis installed for the period of osteointegration of the monoimplants, and a plaster model is cast thereon. Key impression is made from bis-acrylic composite plastic with addition of reinforcing glass tape impregnated with light-hardening adhesive and low-modulus composite. It is polymerised with halogen light through prosthesis for 1 min, excess plastic material is removed from it and fixed on the monoimplants with temporary cement for 3-5 weeks. On the plaster model, the gingival portion of the bridge is waxed up and the silicone key impression is taken from the model. Plaster model is prepared to form a plaster bar supported by monoimplants. Silicone key impression is filled with self-hardening acrylic plastic and applied on the model to obtain an acrylic tray. First provisional prosthesis is removed from the monoimplants by sawing the support crowns, the acrylic tray is fitted on the monoimplant heads and the impregnated glass tape is positioned inside the acrylic tray. Tray is filled with a bis-acrylic composite plastic, the plastic tray is placed on the heads of monoimplants for 1 min, and the plastic tray with the reinforced bis-acrylate is removed from the oral cavity.

EFFECT: higher flexural strength of the provisional prosthesis and possibility of rapid reconstruction of the relief of the gingival portion of the prosthesis.
