SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for manufacturing a temporary removable denture for a toothless jaw. An impression of the jaw teeth is taken with a silicone mass and a plaster model of the prosthetic jaw is made from the impression, from which a mouth guard is made from a polymer plate for mouth guards. A working plaster model is placed in a vacuum apparatus and a heated celluloid plate is pressed against it, the mouth guard is trimmed along the periodontal line of the teeth being restored, then the damaged teeth are removed. The finished tray is filled with fast-hardening plastic to make a prosthesis, which is then polymerized, ground and polished with silicone heads. The prosthesis is fitted in the oral cavity to the jaw with the condition that the sockets of the extracted teeth are isolated with a bioinert sterile polyethylene film 40 microns thick. A border is formed along the edge of the gum to fix it, hangnails are removed, and a temporary prosthesis is installed in the oral cavity for 1-3 months until the sockets are completely healed.

EFFECT: restoration of integrity of the dentition using self-hardening plastic in one visit immediately after tooth extraction, preserving of chewing and phonetic functions, as well as elimination of the defect of temporary absence of teeth by fixing the prosthesis in the patient’s mouth before the manufacture and installation of a permanent structure.
