SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to tobacco industry, in particular to systems simulating the tobacco smoking process. Nicotine electronic vaping device comprises a device assembly configured to interact with the nicotine cartridge assembly. Device assembly includes a controller configured to estimate the amount of the nicotine pre-evaporated composition evaporated during the puffing act, based on the evaporation parameter of the nicotine pre-evaporated composition, obtained from the memory, and the total amount of power supplied to the heater during the puffing act. Controller is configured to determine the updated total amount of the evaporated nicotine pre-evaporation formulation based on the total amount of the nicotine pre-evaporation formulation stored in the memory, and the amount of the nicotine pre-evaporated composition evaporated during the puffing act. Controller is configured to determine that the updated total amount of the nicotine pre-evaporation composition is greater than or equal to one threshold value of the nicotine pre-evaporation composition. Controller is configured to control the nicotine electronic vaping device to output an indication of the current level of the nicotine pre-evaporative composition in response to the determination that the updated total amount of the nicotine pre-evaporation composition is greater than or equal to said at least one threshold value of the nicotine pre-evaporation composition. According to the second embodiment of the nicotine electronic vaping device, the controller is configured to estimate the amount of the nicotine pre-evaporative composition drawn during the puffing act, based on the evaporation parameter of the nicotine pre-evaporation composition and the total amount of power supplied to the heater during the puffing act. Disclosed are embodiments of methods for controlling a nicotine electronic vaping device.
EFFECT: providing an indication of the consumption of the nicotine pre-evaporation formulation in the nicotine cartridge assembly.
