SUBSTANCE: invention relates to missilery and relates to a method for terminal guidance of a ballistic missile on the active section of the trajectory in the presence of an aiming error. Method consists in the fact that in each guidance cycle the required pitch and yaw angles are calculated depending on the direction and value of the command apparent velocity vector to achieve terminal guidance conditions. At the same time, at the output of the azimuthal correction system, an integrated signal is obtained, which is equal to the difference between the calculated and actual values of the flight azimuth, and determining the orientation of the axes of the corrected instrument coordinate system, which is different from the instrument coordinate system by an angle of rotation around the vertical axis, which is proportional to the integrated signal, and determining the projection of the command apparent velocity vector on the axis of the corrected instrument coordinate system.

EFFECT: ensuring movement of a ballistic missile along an incoming trajectory in case of an aiming error during launch.
